Jamnalal Bajaj Vishwaneedam
Jamnalal Bajaj Vishwaneedam (JBV) is a not-for-profit organization based in Bengaluru, India. We offer skill-based training courses (online & offline) to help underprivileged women become economically independent and self-reliant.
JBV was founded in 1960 to honour the memory of Shri. Jamnalal Bajaj, a visionary who devoted his life to improving India’s economic, social and cultural capital. The organization is currently run by the Jamnalal Bajaj Seva Trust (JBST), a public trust funded by the Bajaj Family Trusts (Mumbai).
Our philosophy and the work we do are inspired by these powerful words of Shri Jamnalal Bajaj: ‘In society, men and women have the same status and both have the same needs. A nation cannot truly progress until its women have the same educational, economic, and social opportunities as the men.’
